Lucretius filozófiai értekezésének jelen kötetét a híres Bipont Editions (más néven Bipontine Editions) adta ki. A Bipont Editions, mely nevét a kiadó székhelyéről, a Rajna-vidék Pfalz tartományban található Zweibrücken város latin megfelelőjéről, Bipontiumról kapta, görög és latin klasszikus szerzők 50 kötetes kiadásáról vált híressé. A Societas Bipontina, Friedrich Christian Exter és Georg Christian Crollius irányítása alatt jelentette meg a műveket 1779-től. Működésük színhelyét később Strasbourgba helyezték át, a címlapokon ettől kezdve a latin „Argentoratum” név szerepel.
Kiadói, dúsan aranyozott gerincű félbőr kötésben, a gerincen piros címvignettával. Az elülső borítón néhány, a korból fakadó folttal.
The volume is published by the famous Bipont Editions (also known as Bipontine Editions). Bipont Editions, named after Bipontium, the Latin equivalent of Zweibrücken in the Rhineland Palatinate, where the publisher was based, gained its fame by publishing 50 volumes by Greek and Latin classical authors. The Societas Bipontina, under the direction of Friedrich Christian Exter and Georg Christian Crollius, published the works from 1779 onwards. The venue was later moved to Strasbourg, with the Latin name "Argentoratum" appearing on the title pages.
