Péter Bod (1712–1769) was a Hungarian Protestant clergyman, historian, and author who wrote the first work of literary history in Hungarian.
The publication of this beautifully presented, well-edited volume containing a collection of studies presenting the maps of Péter Bod, a great figure of 18th-century Hungarian and Transylvanian culture, was an important event.
